RULES:

1.- New Game-Hall: CASTLE OF SANT FERRAN, “Martín Fermeño’s Audithory”.

2.- Days of matches:From 8 to 15 of August, of 16:00. The day 12h will be played in double round: morning of 9:00;  afternoon of 16:00, and the day  15, at 9 h a.m.

3.- System: The tournament will be disputed in nine rounds, one group, Swis System with the rules of FCd’E, completed by rules of  FIDE.

 

4.- Playing rhythm: 90 minutes + 30 seconds/move

 

4.- INSCRIPTION and INFORMATION:  The inscriptions will be payed in the first round, preceptive to take part in the tournament.

            ELO FIDE o FCE + 2300: free inscription

            Players under 16 old: 15euros

            Other players: 40 euros

No acumulable prizes:

1rt Local player:             Trophy + free subscripció for one year to the chess magazine “Peón de Rey” and “Todo Teoría”.

1rt Woman:        Trophy + free subscripció for one year to the chess magazine “Peón de Rey” and “Todo Teoría”.

1rt Sub-16 player: Trophy + free subscripció for one year to the chess magazine “Peón de Rey” and “Todo Teoría”.

1rt Sub-14 player: Trophy + free subscripció for one year to the chess magazine “Peón de Rey” and “Todo Teoría”.

 

            It will be applied the corresponding taxes to all the prizes over 200 euros.

 

(*) Is considered provincial player the person with Spanish or Catalan passport who can prove that plays in any Girona’s Region Club.

                       

9.- Dispose of prizes: The prizes will be disposed on the 15th of August at the finis of the last game.

 

10.- Final Table:

1-       Particular result.

2-       Bucholz.

3-       Sonnenborn-berger.

4-       Matches won.

5-      Matches won with black.

 

11.- Direction and Umpire: Tournament direction by Albert Cantenys and Carles Falgueras. Main umpire by Emili Colls and Roger Rodríguez, both national arbiters.

12.- The tournament rules will be displayed in the matchroom befote the start of the first round. This tournament rules are obligatory.

13.- If there is something not contemplated in the tournament rule, the Organitation will aplicate the rules of the FCd’E and FIDE.

 

1. CELLULAR PHONES RULES

 

a.        a.        The player can have a cellular phone, but he must have it in the silence mode in the competition time.

b.       b.       If is very important to the player answer the phone call, he must ask if he can do it to the arbiter.

c.        c.        If the cellular phone rings to a player:

 

1. The first time the player will lost the game.

2. In a relapse case the player could be sancionated with the expultion of the tournament, losing all righs that this rules give to him.
